Future needs a past. Our origins
Industrialisation, the steam engine and the combustion engine brought heat to mankind. And with heat came the search for specialists who could invent new concepts to protect both man and technology and to increase the efficiency of these machines:
As early as 1923, the craftsmen of the "Badische Isolierwerke", the original mother of our present company, began to devise the first high-temperature insulations. Their first big customer was the company "Benz Stationaerer Motorenbau". Ever since the foundation of Thermamax Hochtemperaturdaemmungen as an independent company in 1976, we point the way ahead for both customers and markets: the insulation and management of high temperatures has become our core business. An area of specialisation that we have developed to perfection over the past 30 years.
