The name Thermamax stands for combined insulation systems that not only control temperature, but also provide acoustic insulation.
Over the entire process, we keep our sights not only on the effectiveness of the insulation but also on the process efficiency for our customer. And because particularly in the development and construction of powerful engines it is important not only to know the theory of physics but also to put it into practice and put it to test at an early stage, Thermamax offers its customers the possibility to make the impact and potential of new developments tangible in advance with a wide range of supporting technologies:
Apart from its own model shop, Thermamax can offer you technologies such as rapid prototyping, the acquisition of design data using 3D scanner technology that is fully integrated into the CAD-Design (reverse engineering) and last but not least field simulation of the thermal conditions in the exhaust system using various insulation constructions in the in-house hot-gas test facility or using thermographic recordings.

Thermamax presents fully enclosed metallic insulation for compensators
The flexible metallic insulation systems integrated into the exhaust
tract combine the excellent end-to-end insulating effect that has long
been aspired towards with decidedly simplified handling and reduced
life cycle cost. A small but not insignificant novelty on the world
market for all development departments designing engine and exhaust gas
aftertreatment systems.
